Lets start again shall we....

So anyone who has read the two blogs that have been up on my blog and never come back are probably thinking what was the point in that? Right? She wrote 2 posts and then didn't bother coming back, what's the point in following her!

I agree with you totally! I wouldn't follow me if I was me! But I do have a valid excuse, I have been planning my wedding! It's happening November 2013 in sunny sunny Goa !! I'm very excited, I think we all are, it's nice to have everyone excited about an event (most the time when you aren't stressing about shall we tell them or her)

Anyhooooo.... Moving on... I moved to London with work in January, the new job is going really well and I'm hoping they will want to keep me here instead of having to go back upto the grim north! So I've moved and have been scoffing sooooo much yummy food since I got here!

My office on the south bank is right by the @realfoodfest which is held behind the royal festival hall every Friday / Saturday and Sunday. This has become somewhat of a Friday tradition and treat! You can find more information about the festival here.

They do everything from masala dosa by @horn_please to cakes, pastries and galettes! There's something for everyone and I think I am slowly making my way around each stall!

New York ! New York

So.... since it was booked I was looking forward to it... the last time I visited New York it was cold, snowy and wintery... This time it was hot, green and most of all SUNNY !!!!

I love the Big Apple ! My second 'official' holiday, I've now done it in the height of the winter and summer months ! I definately feel like it will become an annual trip the amount I spent on clothes !

Apologies it has taken me until the end of August to actually put this up!

So... the City that never sleeps really is just that... Although we didn't have any big huge club nights the atmosphere in Manhattan is electric, no matter what time of day you are out and about.

We stayed in The Sofitel, New York it was a lovely hotel, quiet (which is really strange for NYC) but then literally 2 blocks away you were amoungst the crowds of Times Square.

The hotel's food was pretty pricey, and to be honest... if you go to New York... you kind of have to have pancakes for breakfast, atleast one day ? Right ? Or is that just me ? A few minutes walk away from our hotel was The Red Flame Diner which from the first day becamse our breakfast place for the rest of the trip!

The first thing I wanted was pancakes and syrup... mmmm pancakes ! Pancakes bacon scrambled egg and maple syrup.... it was like I had had gone back to ihop on the 192 in 2008! Yummy salty bacon with sweet maple syrup with creamy eggs and soft fluffy pancakes  ! AMAZING !

Now obviously we ate more than just pancakes throughout this trip so I will be updating very soon with everything else which was consumed...

The beginning of a life long adventure with food...

So... Here it is.. My very first blog.

I thought I'd just give you all a little bit of background just so you know what to expect with what's to come.

I've never been a keen writer or anything but I need some sort of outlet for everything that's in my head.. This usually revolves around food !

So what better way to release my thoughts and pictures than to blog about them and share my ideas with other people !

It's going to be a sort of 'Around the food world' type of story which begins in New York City.. starting July 2012. Unfortunately I won't be able to go everywhere in the world every month (boohoo maybe one day!) But as well as blogging about all the lovely things I will eat while I'm away I'll also be telling you all about what I make day to day, which is normally a mix of Indian/Italian/Mexican/American and everything in between... this will include all my baking goodness too !

Bon Appetite !
